Local company wins desal power cable contract
17 November 2009Victoria’s Desalination Project continues to secure local jobs and boost the economy with Victorian-based company Olex awarded a $43 million contract to supply power cable, Minister for Industry and Trade Martin Pakula announced today.
Tottenham based Olex will supply high-voltage alternating current power cable for the project’s 87 kilometre underground power supply.
