Essential Services Commission
The Essential Services Commission is responsible for regulating prices and service quality for the entire Victorian water industry.
The Commission's first pricing decision will take effect from:
- 1 July 2005 for the 17 urban water authorities; and
- 1 July 2006 for the three rural authorities and two recently merged water authorities that provide both rural and urban services.
